That would be motivation enough for me right there!! Chevy= Just think about how much more fun you will have in your CSVT after all the work is done. Hope that motivates ya!

Can Some one give me some motivational words to get me on the ball??!!
Yeh, man, put down that LSD!!!! That stuff will really mess you up. Seriously though, you just have to plan out the time and get started. I think you'll find that once you get started the motivation will be there to get it done.

I was without my 'Tour for almost a year, took that long to find a suitable donor car for the motor. Now that it's back on the road, I love it!!!! Not sure if we're going to sell it now or keep it..... How long will it last? Who knows?

That's one of the reasons why I asked.
I was going to suggest getting rid of that car, so that you have absolutely no ride. Without a car, you HAVE to get your 'tour running so you can drive again.

Having to drive a Chevrolet is torture enough. Fix that Contour and go have some fun. I doubt that 4L60E has much life left in it.

Pale Horse, here ya go:
- Break down the work into blocks that you want to accomplish that will take anywhere from 1 day to 1 week.
- Make a written list of these tasks and a reasonable estimate of the time each will take. (use a computer for easy editing and updating)
- Arrange the items in the proper seguence for the work flow, your schedule, and your interests (don't do all the things you like best first).
- Start to work the list with a positive attitude - the glass is half full NOT half empty - you already have the parts they just need to go together!
- Track your progress - check off or highlight each task as it is accomplished
- At the beginning remind yourself how many tasks you've finished - forget about how many are left.
- Once you're halfway done concentrate on how few are left to complete the task - and TURN that KEY
Good luck, and remember, every mountain is climbed one step at a time.
You just have to take those steps.
