Ive always had a set of summer & winter setups for both my contours. However if you are too late to take off or too early to put on the wrong setup you could end up in a ditch like I did! When I originally bought my car I had the 14's with whatever stock tires were on it and I once almost lost control on a large pach of ice on the freeway and since then have had the winter tires which I really enjoy.

I just remeber the fact that the back end liked to get away from you if you weren't to careful around turns. Never had a fwd car that liked to do that so much.

really i never ever had a problem, with my back going around me, and i owned the car for 2 years. Only thing sucks, is when you the icey slushey [censored] on the roads, then i am scared.. cause it doesn't want to do what you need it to do.

My eagle talon seemed to be better...I tried and tried and tried to get that thing to do stuff in parking lots and all it would do is go where the stearing wheel was. Man that car handled good. Not that the contour is bad.

contours are fun if you get an empty parking lot that is totally icey, and get going like 20 - 40 and jack the ebay breake haha.

Yep I did the same thing in my tour about 2 years ago in a KMART parking lot. Lots of good times in the ol tour. I drive a little more reserved now.
A Contour is not just a car, it's an experience
