I recently installed a new head unit. All the lights and everything was fine for 2 days. Tonight when i got in my car and started it I noticed that the tailights, the guage illumination, and the heater control lights are all out. The fuses are all good and everything else works fine, including the brake lights. Anyone know what could have happened??

I could possibly point you in the right direction since I had a similair problem when I installed my head unit. I messed up a few wires without realizing it, and although everything worked fine, the cluster and HVAC illumination lights were always on, anytime the key was turned to acc, or on. So the only thing I can think of is to check your wires again. Sounds silly, but who knows.

Look to make sure all wires are color to color and have a solid connection. Did you use a wireharness? Also you might want to move this to the audio section. They will most likely know more.

Did you check both fuse boxes... under the hood and in the footwell?
