The EVAP system is tested for pressure holding I think everytime the car warms up, except when the gas is below 1/4 and above 3/4 because it cant get an accurate reading, also with Chrysler, if it is below -38F outside then the test isnt run either.

OP SVTBURG CEG\'er S Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 66	The reason for the whole in the tank, is because of my swa bar. I have the aussie bar (which has no flex) and i went up an incline and it snapped( without my knowledge). Well after awhile it rubbed a whole in the gas tank. I cant put anything past a half of tank or else it would leak out. It does NOT throw a CEL however. Im just wondering if this is the problem im having with the major problem im having with the car. 99 SVT tour 00 Mercury Sable (winter car) 03 600 RR
