I'm glad to be able to get one and it's also nice to know that the car's parts (at least the speedo) are going to be used for a good purpose. I totaled my 98 SVT (another US car) in September and while it was a tremendous loss (loved the car), at least by parting it out I've been keeping other SVT's on the road.
I had six Merkur XR4Ti's over the years and the only way I kept them on the road in the later years was by always having a parts car. Thank good we'll not get to that point for many more years with the Contours
