I've had dial-up since the 1980s and local BBS (you old timer modem people know what I mean). This high speed thing is a HUGE jump in what I'd been used to for many, many years. Here are a few links to test your connection speed. Try them out and post your results. Here's a few of mine from toast.net using the Nibble Info Systems web host. Click on the performance test in the upper right corner. Text test: 2910 Kb Shuttle: 2906 Kb Shuttle + text: 3043 Kb Mars rover: 2997 Kb F-16 Jets: 3043 Kb And here's the results from Bandwidth Speed Test : Communications 3 megabits per second Storage 360.5 kilobytes per second 1MB file download 2.8 seconds Subjective rating Great

You have to be using a business line or something because there isn't anything over 5mb upload, for the residential area. 10meg is what T1? Just curious, and where might you live I might need to move if thats residential. The highest available in my area is 5mb upstream/500 kb down stream. -Black '96 GL 160k -Car #30953

They tout themselves as something like 40x's faster than dial up
