I've heard stories of people renting the GT350H, driving it to the race track, anc swapping the engine into another Mustang with the neccasary cage and such. After running the race and putting many hard laps on the engine, transplant it back, and drive back to Hertz. The car would only have a few miles on it and the engine would have hundreds, and Hertz wouldn't know.

I never make fun of rental cars... they are the best off-road vehicles ever made.

That's a lot of f'in work!!

My dad used to steal the knockoff wheels from his buddies '66 vette while he was at work and put them on his dad's 64 impala that he was driving... they'd cruise around town all night for chicks, then take the car back to Darryl's house, swap the wheels out again, and go home... he could never figure out how he burned through tires so fast! (The fact that he was driving a 427 big block probably didn't help it at all!)
