I just had my Eclipse HU stolen and I want to go with detachable face because my car is parked overnight in my condo complex's underground and there are just too many thieves who don't know what ESN is. I won't be forgetting to remove the faceplate. I am leaning towards the Pioneer DEH-P560MP. I do want MP3/WMA and the power output should be sufficent. I have had a long standing hesitation about JVC products but a lot of people are telling me to take another look. I did, and I hate the styling of the decks like the G700/800. However, I really do like the looks of the LHX500 and AR7000. The AR is going to be too pricey, but the LHX can probably work. When it comes to sound quality and ergonomics while driving ... is there a reason to justify the extra money between the Pioneeer and the JVC? JohnnyCanuck 1999 SVT

I like Pioneer, I've had no problems with mine, and it's 3 years old... Another one would be Alpine, they make good stuff too.... 1998 Contour GL 2.0L Zetec Stock as hell for the moment....

Now if only I could remember where I left my 1968 Impala with the 302 and the 2-speed torque flite Along those lines ... I think I mentioned I had alsways hesitated about JVC (always seemed to gimmicky for me) so you and Smorg kind of confirmed that. Of course, now I'm talking myself into the 760MP instead of the 560 ... JohnnyCanuck 1999 SVT
