sorry if this has been asked before...

I know a lot of people order from crutchfield, and they give you everything you need and instructions, but there is a sony outlet store around here and a place that i found online that is cheaper.
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/cyberautosound/index.html

anyway...what extra stuff do in need to get after i buy a new head unit and door speakers.
nothing fancy here just replacing the headunit and speakers.
do i need a new bracket fo the radio or will the one off the factory one fit it..its a Sony CDX-CA700X
and do i need a wiring harness
and I read about something that you need to bypasses the factory amp??

if this stuff is needed is it possible to pick it up from someplace like circuit city?

Yup. Anybody want to write a FAQ for HU installation/amp bypass?

I'd gladly do it if I was installing a HU and had a digital camera readily available. I thought you had all sorts of pics, Tony?

I had installed the xplod cdx-750 last summer and I bypassed the amp with the supplied crutchfield's amp by-pass. The instructions were easy and I couldn't be more happy with the sound that my system has. The 52 x 4 is more than enough power to push my 6 x 8 pioneers.
