Jesus. Those cars look like ticking time bombs or nukes. I don't know how comfortable I would be sitting in the drivers seat with (basically) a jato in the trunk. But then again, did someone say thrust? So, people can put these in their cars, but we have no contour people to freakishly design and build a v8 rear wheel drive tour. Lifes not fair.

Well, I don't know if this is true or not, but I was lookin on this page about Duratecs, and it says "The rare 6.0 L V12 is essentially two 3.0 L V6 units bolted together."
Also says: "These engines will generally* work with the CD4E, MTX-75 and Durashift gearboxes."
So if that's true, maybe someone can join two 3Ls together and get custom crank/cams.... that would be wicked. How do you think it would be mounted?
*Must mean that it eats them right away?

the 6.0 liter was used in the prototype GT-90 with four turbochargers. they had to line the interior of the engine compartment with ceramic tiles that they use on the space shuttle to keep the heat from melting the body of the car. how awesome is that..

The 6L V-12 used by Aston Martin is basically two 3L duratecs end to end.

12 Cylinder The rare 6.0 L V12 is essentially two 3.0 L V6 units bolted together. Aston Martin use this engine in the Db7 and the V12 Vanquish.
