I recently made a major service to my 99 SVT, brakes, suspension, etc. cost me over $2K
But now I have an other issue, with the engine going like no fuel getting to it. First I had the gas pump changed, but the problem persisted.
It seems that when I drive a lot, over 250 miles, I get the problem. While driving in town, does not matter how low I am on fuel, I have no problem. But once I hit the road and drive for a couple of hours, I get this sort of stalling, and the car will just stop going on. If I wait an hour or so, it then run OK, and I can continue to drive like nothing has happened.
Ford service has no clue, and claim that when I get there the car is working fine, which is probably true, so they say its maybe the computer, or some sensors, or whatever.
Any idea what might be causing this, its drinving me nuts, and force me to use my wife car when going on the road.
