anyone heard of this game? i rented mortal kombat deception and there was a playable demo on it and i almost lost it. it looked awesome the play was pretty hard but the graphics, the guns, everything was awesome, just really hard to control...and mkd is awesome also. i'm a hardcore MK fan of the side scrolling fighters and it took me a while to get used to but, i liked it none the less and can't wait till the newest enstall ment of the MK series comes out (there's a huge article in the november IGN, it looks and sounds amazing)...and i'm a huge nerd.

MK is ok, i didnt like deadly alliance (the last one, i think thats what its called) that much. the fighting was wayyyy too slow. soul caliber 2 is a much better fighting game than the last MK. gameplay is much much faster, and moves dont take 5 minutes to do. it seemed like it took forever to go from one move to another without any downtime. SC2 you can lay some major as* whippin's on people, and it can happen real fast.

how is the gameplay on the new MK? that was my biggest hangup on the last one, so hopefully they fixed it.

i like fast gameplay like the old mk's and street fighter series that are still remarkably pretty quick (was playin my ps1 last night). the game play was ok it still seems to stagger when trying combos and etc, the essence of combos are so gay, it should go back to the special moves and fatalities. but i'm goin for the SF anniversary collection sometime soon it's gotta be good. i would rent mkdeception and test it out, but i like the konquest mode or whatever it's like an rpg with random fights, i sorta liked it and it shows you how to use all the people etc. theres also a chess and puzzle mode (like dr. mario for snes i think? or nes?)
