Ok hears the deal I have a 99CSVT with 84k and the clutch has never been replaced. What is happening other than a hunting idle which is another story....is that when sitting in traffic or at a light with the clutch depressed and the car in gear if you rev the motor you can feel a slight lurch as if the clutch was partially released. The clutch doesnt slip when in gear. It feels as if the linkages need adjusting is this common and how would I go about this if it is in fact the problem. Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks

When you rev the engine the clutch is designed to grab harder. It sounds like there is not enough freeplay, which is the reverse of what happens with a worn clutch.

I would recommend bleeding the clutch first.

Mine was doing that before I replaced the clutch. If I touched the gas at all I would feel a little pull in the car. It got pretty annoying. I also had problems with tight shifting and the clutch slipping.

I had none of these problems after the replacement, but dont know for sure if you need to do the same. Might just need an adjustment.
