I appear to have a high pitched, quick, but repetitive squeak coming from the front.
It's an intermittent squeaking, so it's hard to pinpoint, also relatively quiet (no one else hears it!), and is generally of short duration.
The squeak usually appears to manifest itself after turning the wheels left, or holding them left. At times it appears to be while straight, but I've not really noticed it starting when turning right. Now, once it's started, it will sometimes go away when I straighten, or turn right, but not always. It is, however, always short lived, but returns a few times during a drive.
As my velocity increases, so does the speed with which the squeaks appear, getting shorter in duration each.
I've noticed it at low velocity, and I have to have my window open to hear it. My passengers never hear it, but then they never hear things I do, and I am blessed (or cursed!) with good hearing so I catch these things real early.
I've tested and it does not appear to be related to gears. I receive it in while coasting in neutral.
I've already checked the boots, and they appear to be good. I've had tires replaced, and also changed to snows, and my wheels have always been balanced when this is done. I've had BAT Euro suspension kit for about 18 months now, but it didn't suddenly appear after that. I've had bearings changed just under a year ago, and also a tie-rod and stab-links (not sure which, maybe both).
Any ideas ?
