Hey whats up? I've been on the boards for a little while but this is the first time I've come into this forum and read some threads. Just wanted to say that I just bought a Silver SVT 98.5 recently and i've been cruising around Pittsburgh since I am from the South Hills area (South Park). I also just recently graduated from PSU University Park Campus aka State College, PA so I might be seen making some runs up there in the SVT to go back and party. If you see me make sure to wave or beep or whatever. So far I've only seen one other SVT which was a black one by the South Hills Village Mall, not sure if the owner is a member here or not. Anyway, just wanted to throw out a hello and if there are any other SVT owners in the area get at me.

I was wondering when you were going to make your way down here (NE section).

You enjoying the SVT?

Whats up LUCA? Ya i dunno why I havent came into this forum before. I totally overlooked it, but ya I really do like driving the SVT. Very comfortable, great styling, drives great. Don't get very good city gas milage at all though, however i get aprox 30-31 on the hi-way which I think is pretty decent. Thanks for asking by the way.

Russell, hows it going? Ya I'm from the Burgh. How bout them Stillers huh? Anyway havent seen too many SVT's since Ive bought mine, except for that black one i mentioned earlier (maybe b/c they don't know about this site, I didn't until i found it one day surfing on the internet looking for SVT mods). Glad to see there are atleast a few of us SVT owners in Pgh. Hopefully there are more that will see this thread and chime in.

You may not have an SVT..but...you 3L swap Im sure has alot of get up and go. Actually isn't that faster than the SVT?

P.S. man i miss my 89 Stang GT 5.0....its been garaged for like, hell, 3 years. Been garaged while I was away at school and now Im running the SVT so the stang just sits lol. Love the power of the Stang though, the SVT is my 2nd baby, doesnt really even come close to the Stang's performance.

with the atx it ran a 15.02 @ 91, which is the fastest N/A ATX pass to date. the car had alot more in it too, with exhaust and everythign fixed id be will into the 14s

thats with a jacked up torque convertor, O/D light flashing, busted roll resistors, STOCK single exhaust, bald snow tires, bad o2 sensors, and it rained in between passes on a hot summer day! not to mention it was against a 95 mustang gt 5 speed, who ran a 15.9, i really embarassed him

the car now has a mtx w/ a torsen and svt clutch and flywheel (spec 3, spec flywheel, stage 2 axles, nitrous, and drag radials come spring)

i still need to do my true dual setup

its a 3L hybrid, w/ 1mm oversized pistons, svt uim, lim, and cams, svt heads with a full PnP and 3L valves. msds headers, lightnign maf, and a ADC chip, and 24# injectors.
