the motor in my sunroom burned out, does anyone know a location to buy a new one? if not i will go to the local for part store, but if anyone has a cheaper location please let me know. thanks

Junkyard. Ford will only sell the assembly and its costly. Consult Bill at Signature LM, maybe he can get you a good deal. Parts stores won't have it, I checked when the gear on my striped out. Make sure its the motor and not the gear that went south. There is a fix possibly for the gear.

Verify if it is the gear and not the motor. If it is only the gear that is shot (as is usually the case) There is a group buy going on for new upgraded gears.

fyi, the previous owner of my car fried the motor TWICE

Wanna know how? Never use the motor to pull the shade cover back with it . It cost him 350 dollars each time.

If you need a motor, I have an extra one out of my '00 SVT you're welcome to. It needs a gear though. If you're interested, pm me.
