While driving, it has done this twice in the past two days. The oil and battery light come on, the steering wheel locks up, and the car just shuts off. It starts right back up with no problems and there are no warning signs prior to the event. Hasn't caused any trouble really but it's kinda freakin' weird. Just wondering what the hell is going on so I can fix it...

Does it happen when you press the clutch in? Cuz mine does the exact same thing when the clutch is depressed, and It'll just completely shut off..."stall"...I replaced my TPS, and it still does it occasionally...I'm still trying to find out whats going on.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

You may want to investigate the IAC valve. How many miles do you have on your car?

113K and I can guarantee my IAC is on its way out...Related? Doesn't shut off when I'm at idle, it will shut off during highway or city driving.

Hmmm, Sounds like something I am not familiar with. Have the codes run. This is a good starting place. With your mileage, you may want to replace the IAC, but I would check the codes first.

The IAC shouldn't cause intermittent stalling while off idle.
I'd suspect an intermittent electrical sensor or connection. Unfortunately, this is likely to drive you crazy unless you get lucky early on. If it failed completely, it would be much easier to troubleshoot.
My priority would be the ignition system. I'd first check to see if any DTCs were stored in the PCM. If so, use them as the basis for your diagnostics. I would also look at any freeze frame data, if available.
In the ignition system, I'd check the coil electrical connector first, then try a crank sensor.
It might also be a fuel delivery problem. A fuel pressure guage would tell you is the pressure is dropping and causing the stalling.
Good luck, you're likely going to need it.

Wow, very encouraging...LOL.Thanks for the help. I was thinking a fuel delivery problem also, but I don't know. Guess I had better start getting to work...

Wow, I posted about 2 weeks ago about the same exact problem and no one had a clue what I was talking about or what could cause it. I just got my new clutch installed and since then the car stalls when I press the clutch on downshifting. So I will be coming around a corner to take a turn and downshift on the turn and the car stalls, steering locks up, etc. Starts up fine everytime with no hesitation. I'm bringing it back to the garage that worked on my car today to see what they find. I'll post once they figure out my issue.

Well I brought it down today and the owner is being a assh0le. When they worked on my car, they damaged the VSS wires, so now I dont have a working speedometer. He told me that the stalling is probably related to the VSS problem which I know its not, hes just bullshitting me. He told me that until I replace the VSS they wont look at the car. He said I need to start with that first. He says its throwing off the computer when downshifting because the car thinks i'm not moving. Haha, yeah right. So i'm gonna try and either replace the VSS and then bring it back to them or i'm gonna have my school look at it and see what they think because I go to tech school so its more convenient. I'll post when I find out more.
