i watched the E true Hollywood story on him (as much as i could anyway). it's kinda funny cuz he has just about all the problems he chastizes people on his show for. my mom thinks he's the "2nd coming"

he is a back staber... he is pretty pregidist against men from what Ive seen on Oprah... lol.. I was flipping though channels of course when I happen to fall upon Oprah..

Dude it's ok we all watch oprha some times. dr phil is aight with me. seems like he helps some people so thats good.

Its always easy to point out others flaws, its another story if you can actually help them fix their problems. As far at that goes I dunno about him.....

he is not prejudice against me. I have seen him get down more on women actually than the men. He's yelled at women for cheating, or not allowing the husband to actually be a dad to his kids because the mom wants to be the "only" one, chastized a divorcing couple for their behavior towards each other, and even chastized the lawyer of the guy for playing her client like a fiddle, then chastized the woman for letting the man move back in her house......all sorts of things. So no, he's not prejudice against the men, just when he's on Oprah, it's mainly women complaining about men, but if you actually watch HIS show, you will see a very different format.
Yes, I do have to agree, all of what he's telling these people is common sense stuff, but thing is, I guess they don't think about it until they hear it from someone like him.

I think he is making a lot of money and getting rich like he wants to. Self help stuff is over-rated. I bought a Chicken soup book just because I was curious. There are a whole series of Chicken soup books.
The only self help book that I've read that is good is "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie.
