dnewma04 Moderator D Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 8,142	I would agree with that statement. For some reason, despite having similar cone area, 6x8s are always a little lean compared with 6x9s. You can fit 6x9s with some minor mods like a spacer if you are interested in attempting that.

They had good bass for a 6x8 especially with some dynamat and an outboard amp. Where they excel is the mids and highs compared to other 6x8s.
