I did look up in the past tread but didn't found answer. I actually use Pirelli P3000 Cinturado as summer tires. I'll probably need to change tires next summer. I've check on Tire Rack and chec a few of them: Yoko AVS E100 and db S2, Bridgestone Potenze G009 and BFDgoorich traction T/A H. I, ve compared them and think that the BFG is likely the best, and a best seller on tirerack. What do you think about this one guys?? Nic.

I've had the Traction T/A H's on my 'tour for about a month now. It was actually a mistake that I had them put on, but I like them. They're quieter than the Dunlops I had on there before. Everyday driving with a few spirited runs here and there, and they never seem to complain. Others on this site think they're a little low-rent for an SVT, but whatever.
Old car: '98 SVT T-Red
K&N air filter; Ford Focus RS shift knob. Off to be auctioned off somewhere.
New car: 2003 Honda Accord DX Sedan, 5-speed.

Are they good on rainy days?

Just posted this on another thread...
BFGoodrich Traction T/A's 205/55/16's H-rated all season high performance, excellent tires!! I went to these after two sets of Firestone SZ 50 EP's, those were just incredible tires. I had decided to change tires before I found out that the Firestones were being discontinued because I wanted something, cheaper, quieter, softer riding, and longer lasting than the Firestones but did not give up too much in the wet handling, very important in South Texas downpours, or in the dry handling. These tires fit every one of my criteria; $83/tire, very nice in road noise, not so harsh in the ride, 60K warranty, every bit as good as the SZ 50 EP's in the rain, and while not the same in the feeling in cornering as the Firestones in the dry, they do have nice, comfortable, precise, predictable attributes in cornering. Overall, I don't think you can beat these tires for the price.
...Also, I ran them through a very heavy downpour at highway speed and they just plowed through the standing water on the freeway. Luke @ Tire Rack recommended these, he knows what he is talking about. There is also a V rated version if you want to go up a speed rating. Those in my size were $93/tire.

But the T/A is an all-season tire. If you want a "summer" tire, there are undoubtedly better choices out there. Be careful comparing different categories. The best "high performance all season" with gang-loaded "10's" won't be as good as a decent Summer tire in the summer. Depends what you are looking for.

I've checked in a few categories on tirerack. I mean that i'm gonna use these tires, or whatever choice i will do, only in summer, i have winter tires to.

I don't need an all season where I live, South Texas, but most summer tires usually are louder, harsher riding, wear out faster than others and some are just way expensive. I just got tired of that on the SE 50 EP's, a summer tire and these were some of the quieter, smoother, longer lasting, and not as high priced as some of the dedicated summer tires. It all has to do with want you want in a tire. For me, the Traction T/A's are a nice balance of what I wanted in a tire.
