This thread would have been shorter if you'd have asked, "Whos NOT working on their car this weekend".

So far this weekend I've done:

Magnaflow 5x8 at the resonator spot
Leather seating installed
Side markers
New O2 sensors

That should be about it, tomorrow I work on the BMW to get it on the road & sell it.


Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I'm installing my MSDS Headers and ShoShop y-pipe.



Well Today i got only the front header on. Broke 2 bolts on the y pipe, and managed to puncture my radiator and i think its the condenser

Changed my oil, and looked into a possible leak. Looks to just be the sealing ring on the drain plug was out of wack. That or when I last changed my oil I didn't let it warm up enough and didn't get all the oil out, leaving a tad bit too much in there.

Crossing fingers on this one.

Then gave it a bath, with this nice weather that keeps coming, I keep putting off the snow tires. knocking on wood as we speak!

im finally getting my NEW motor put in......
im so happy, i got new cam gears and theyre NOICE ill have relatively about 150hp, at the wheels. im gonna love it come monday.

I cleaned my K&N.

It took me 84 hours yesterday. Very hard job.


Oh Oh Oh. I washed my car Friday night!!!




Probably an Oil change tonight.


I already R&R'd the fuel Friday. I have to do that every week or so. Is that a problem everyone has.
Mine never seems to last long? Maybe 250 miles and 75-80% of it is worn out.

Finally washed it yesterday, and it looks amazing. I also got Silverstars, and put those in. Wow is all I can say after I aligned them (The built-in leveler is great!) properly. I bought some micro-fiber towels to do the windows, and I will never use anything else.

So far all I have been doing mechanically is fixing the essentials upto my level of pickiness. Put in Mobil 1, and a new air filter. Next week is new tranny fluid, and that stock worthless stereo has got to go. I think Santa might be bringing me a Pioneer a little bit early this year. God I love that guy.

The previous owner did not keep maintenance records, which ticked me off, because now I have to replace everything because I don't trust that he took care of it well enough.

Tires are also going to be coming up soon. Not sure what to get, because I've never had a car with such small tires before, but it sure is nice for gas mileage.

Broke an EGR valve bolt off in the UIM. Gonna have to drill it out. Oh well, I'll take the whole thing off and soak it in TB/carb cleaner before I put it back on.

well today again on my 00 tour i put the wire clip on my caliper and now no clunk clunk noise everytime i hit a bump
