Does anyone have a problem with the drivers side winshield wiper jumping or chattering. I work with a guy that has the same problem as me. After replacing the wipers 3 times it still does it and he also replaced his twice. I also tried bending the arm but that didnt do anything either. the wiper doesnt flop back and fourth like it is supposed to do.

Had that problem with a 4Runner I borrowed. There was junk on the windsheild that caused that. You might even be able to see a little line of rubber buildup on the glass. Scrub the window really good, then buy a new set of blades. Exact-fit will do, only about $6 each.

You need to verify proper alignment of the wiper arm. Remove the blade assembly and position the wiper about halfway across the glass. Lay the metal hook on the glass. It should lie flat. Take a piece of paper and try to slide it between the glass and the hook from both sides. Use some pliers to gently twist the arm as needed. Then clean the glass well (like someone else said) and put on some new blades.

had anco blades that did that, replaced them with bosch. much better.
