OP 1997 GL Alabama New CEG\'er 1 Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 35	Just had the Serp. Belt changed about a month ago. Now it makes this light high pitched noise, like its coming from the fan belt area. Could it be possibley a pully? I am planning on taking it in and having the timing belt replaced anyways. I may get them to fix the whole nine yards, (Timing belt, Pullys, tensioners,etc)

OP 1997 GL Alabama New CEG\'er 1 Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 35	Ok, that may be it. the car also vibrates or acts like it has a load on it, when sitting in DRive like at a stop light, when i put in Park or Neutral, it goes away..... Any takers?

OP 1997 GL Alabama New CEG\'er 1 Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 35	Wouldnt think so.. Even did it before I had to replace Transmission. I suspect its a belt pully/Tensioner fixing to go bad. Got to get my 1989 Geo on the road, So I can get the Tour' the shop.....

garretto CEG\'er G Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 137 enid, oklahoma	some belts do that that when you just put them on, i think its because the belt is newer then the water pump or something. its the way the belt is ribbed. is it a goodyear belt? WTB: Andy's Auto Sport front bumper only... a chip for my 98se
