so i get out of class early tonight, at columbus state community college, and i go to the parking garage where i have been parking all quarter with no problems, and i go to put my bookbag in my car from the passenger side and notice that something is on my seat.
then i see busted glass, my dash is open, etc.
so i immediately get the crap out of there b/c i am a girl and alone in the parking garage after dark (only 6:15 p.m.) i called my boyfriend and told him to get down there athen i went to campus police. they met me at the car and we found that only my cds from the glove compartment are missing. my stereo is lying on the seat b/c they couldn't get it out quick enough, and my faceplate was in my purse. and the cds on my visor are still there, thank god, b/c i listen to those the most.
total damage, a busted drivers window that had 35% tint, the black stripping around it looks like it has been pried, i of course have glass everywhere, and the trim piece that i had painted around the stereo and dash controls is broken. other than that i guess i was lucky. there were ten other break-ins in the garage tonight, including a kid with a mustang who had his stereo under the seat, and amp, and subs that were all gone. thank god insurance will cover it, but they won't cover the tint. i filed a police report with them and they took some pictures. grrrrr...
THIEVES SUCK! and that's all i have to say about that.
