Hey guys,
my buddy asked me to post this because nobody on the SHO forum could help. He has an '89 Taurus SHO and lately while under light to normal braking either his front left or right wheel will lock up. we also found that its far more pronounce when there is someone riding in the rear seat on the right side. all of the brakes seem to be working as there is no rust forming on any of the rotors...any ideas on what that may be?
thanks

Sounds like the calipers are sticking. Try lubricating the slide pins first off, if that fails the calipers themslves may be bad.

No one on SHO forum helped?! Not possible. Anyway the lines break down over time. The inner lining may be collapsing causing the caliper to lock up. I'd replace the lines. Check or bubbling on them. Calipers can also age. So check slide pins, calipers and lines. I know the driver rear on my 93 SHO was locking up until I realized what was happening and replaced the lines.
