Dust devil. We get those around here. Drive out into the desert in the heat of the day you can often see half a dozen or more tearing across the land.

Neat. I've been in leaf storms like that in OK, which was pretty cool. Nothing that size, though.
The coolest ones I've seen (outside of actual tornadoes) has been aroud El Paso. I recall seeing a fair number of them (some quite large) when I was working in that area.

I was camping once, and saw one I was stupid and had to walk through it!! so I tried and I got thrown to the ground hard! and my eyes were full of sand, I was only 13... pretty stupid and funny at the same time! it was a big one to!
