Anyone got suggestions on where to order car stereo equipment online? It seems as though no place in my town caries the New Pioneer MP3 players and I want one, but am scared to buy online cause have had some bad experiences. Any place more reliable than Crutchfield? I have heard some of their stuff is factory refurbished and I could tell from the multiple amps they sent me that were all broken or flawed in some way. Thanks,

It should begin arriving at your local and online retailers soon. I found this out by pestering Pioneer after having the unit on backorder at Crutchfield for a month. It is rather annoying that they take orders so far in advance of receiving stock with no estimate for when they expect to receive their first shipment. Then again, if they hadn't posted it, I would have a Rockford Fosgate unit in my dash right now and be kicking myself when Pioneer finally shipped. (Crutchfield still doesn't have an ETA when a checked a few days ago).

I called around and one store here had the premier one for 389, but I didn't really want to spend that much. So I caved and ordered the 7400mp from SoundDomain.com for 299. Supposedly they have them and they ship within 24 hours so will see what happens. Thanks for the replies.

I have 4 740MPs in stock (and ones in my car :p ) that thing is sweet, burned all 4 beastie boys CD's and a few house tunes on one disc, is freakin nice. My Crutchfield order just shipped this AM.  I know what I'll be doing this weekend...finishing the amp and sub install so that my sig will finally be accurate. :rolleyes:
