Installed sytem today. I got the magnaflo system. sounds like a v-8 stang. Really sounds good. no drone or rasp at all. such an improvement over stock system w/no res. It sound just like my cousins magnaflo s-10 exhaust.
I do have one concern though, When i really get on it I smell a very light exhaust smell in the cab. Has anyone else experienced this or does it go away? I'm going to check for any leaks tomorrow just in case.

Probably just a leak. Go through and check all the bolts. Sounds good.

Rance, my car has a similar problem. My Trubendz gives off a very distinct smell after running the car hard and turning it off. I do not think it is leak as the car has not shown any ill effects after putting it on. Otherwise, it is an awesome sounding system especially when you get on it.
P.S.: My uncle's Z06 also has an exhaust smell while running hard and its factory stock.

I believe the smell is the light oil that is coated on the systems to prevent rust and sh!t. It should burn off in a couple days. My Borla system had it.

The 'coating' isn't there for rust, it's there as a lubricant to allow the manderels to slide through the pipe as it's being bent.

Anyway you can get a sound clip of it? I have been thinking and pondering over the magnaflow kit from Trubendz but do not want a ricey sound and it seems that our lil high revvers like that sound.

It does not sound ricey at all. It is actually kind of throaty but is more European than Mustang. You will like it, trust me.
