Hey guy's, Long time no see. CEG would not work with my net untill i updated my drivers on my router, now it works.

Anyways, I went to AutoZone because my check engine light was on. I got some codes.

P0171
and
P0420

I did a search and found out what both were. My cat is prolly clogged, But my MAF is brand new, but its still throwing off this code??

Thank's,
Josh

I get or had PO171 for a long time.
I have cleaned the MAF several times. Replaced the upstream O2 sensor twice. Replaced several vacuum lines. Replaced the air filter. ECT, IAT, MAF both O2 sensors are working correctly.
This past week I replaced all the injector O rings because they were leaking air on the intake stroke.
So far I'm at 270 miles at about 1/4 tank left.
For me the code comes and goes every 6 weeks or so about every 1100 miles, it appears while accelerating up to 70 or so, or while crusing at 70 or so, it has never came on during city driving.

Anyways good luck with your code it has been nothing but a massive headache for me since August.

Yep I have the same problem same code comes up my CEL has been on since Sept. a day after the dealer warrenty expired, and I had it read like 5-6 times once at the place I got my timing belt and water pump replaced, and others at autozone, all came up same code. Replaced upstream 02 censor, and replaced air filter and also cleaned MAF censor 2 or 3 times didn't work and I seen a service bulletin for the MAF censors and it has the code it brings up for that (P0171, thas what code mine read) so its gotta be MAF censor.
