I replaced the left and front motor mount on my 95 gl 4cyl automatic and I still get a bad vibration when I have the car in gear. The steering column vibrates like crazy. Anyone know what could be causing this? The vibration is gone when the car is moving.

I learned to get used to it and I replaced all the mounts including the tramsmission one. So.. i dont know what to say...

How many mounts are there on the 95 gl auto?

I fixed my timing, and the vibrating went away, very weird, i feel the car stalled at stops now... im used to the vibrating

5???? sounds like overkill. I'm used to honda's that use three or four at the most.

I was told by a few shops that some vibration is normal with these cars and it is unfixable.
Anyways new plugs, wires, air/fuel filter, PCV valve, cleaning the TB/intake, injectors flushed, and using Valoline oil it idles better than when I first got it.

Transmission Mounts 2.5L V6
Transmission mounts are showing signs of wear on higher mileage cars, or
hard use, causing uncontrolled drivetrain movement usually felt as increased
"torque steer". In more extreme cases CV joint or axle failure can occur.
