I am in the middle of connecting my wiring harness and my reciever together.... and i am going to put the power conector wire in (the one that goes from an amp to the headunit) Do i connect that to the ignition switch wire (red).... This used to be hooked up in another car and the p. con wire from the amp was hooked up into the power antena wire from the headunit. Is that ok also?... and which one is better to use?

The remote turn on wire from your amp should be connected to the remote turn on from the radio. If its an aftermarket radio it will be a blue wire, you can use the power antenna wire. Don't use a constant 12 volts source cause your amp will be on all the time. The antenna wire is better because it recieves a signal from the radio not the ignition as to when to turn on.

Any store selling car audio. Best bet would be to hit up a locally owned store becuase they usually do more of the custom installs and might have more variety. If you're like me, you won't care about variety.
