The breather tube from the top of the ATX goes somewhere, but I'm not sure where...... I just put in a new motor, and can't remember where I pulled it off of. Anybody know off of the top of their heads, or are willing to go take a look at theirs? Thanks in advance!

I've got one that comes up right next to the battery. There is actually a loop & a clip molded into the battery box that hold the breather up.

If you're asking where on the tranny it attaches, I dunno off hand.

It is still attached to the tranny, I need to know where the other end goes. Are you saying that yours is just sticking out and not connected to anything? Mine also has the loop and little clip thingy on it. Where is yours clipped onto?

I took a look at my 98 Mystique LS. It goes on a fitting opposite the water pump pulley, below the left edge of the battery. The fitting is in the black cover. The hose snakes up, behind the battery and the open end is clipped to the battery hold down.

It just hangs there. You'll see the loop on the battery box, & along the same edge of the box is a molded C lookin' thing. I've got the end of the tube sqeezed in there & it looks/works fine so far after about 30,000 miles.
