Hey guys,
Just installed a new/old replacement engine into my wife's 98 Contour, V-6. Everything went relatively smooth, except I have one connector left with no where to connect it to. It is near the firewall, right between the coil pack and the firewall. It is a green connector, with a yellow piece inside of it. It has a black and white wire, and a yellow and brown wire. Does anyone have any idea where this is supposed to go? Any insight would be greatly appreciated...... I've been searching high and low, and have everything connected except for this piece. If I don't find out where it goes, I guess I'll just fire it up tomorrow and see how she runs. Thanks in advance!

I'm gonna check that on mine today. Where is it located near the firewall? center left, right??

I've just came from outside to check the connector. I saw no green connector, the nearest looks like is a black one with a yellow piece. Two wires yellow/green, black/yellow or white. But it's the IAC one, so you probably connected it, pretty easy to see it.

I've found where it goes..... The old motor had another sensor on the back of the motor near the exhaust manifold, that the new motor did not have. So, I pulled the sensor off the old motor, and put it on the new. Thanks for your help!
