i prefer Gran Turismo.. just about all of the other racing games are too unrealistic for me. Newest GT is coming out soon or already is..i haven't checked.

PC games have bugs becuase the push the envelope and know they can update them.
BFV was a big piece of Poo. BUt MOH, the sims, and BF1942 are deniably smash hits. bf1942 and the DC mod took game and mod of the year in the same year.

PC Games have bugs because every system is different. It's simply not possible to program a game that will work exactly the same when every computer is totally different from another whether in hardware or software installed.
Bugs aren't necessarily shoddy programming. You can just only cover so many bases before you've got to shove it out the door.
That said, I've encountered virtually no problems with any EA-published title. I can't think of any one that required patching for my PC.
But, PC games have their own benefits. You can't run modifications (at least not at all easily) on a PS2. Nor can you effectively patch (easily) on a PS2. While patches fix bugs, they also can introduce a lot of new features that console users can't, or can't easily, take advantage of.

Every EA PC Game (excluding Sims) has given me trouble, while other software companies run perfectly. Most of the trouble comes from patching. I'm currently playing COD: UO and loving every minute of it. No problems so far.
It's all MHO, but I really don't care for EA when it comes to PC games. You may feel differently.

Most problems with PC games are Video card drivers, Nvida and ATI's fault. BF1942 in it's time was flawless.

I'm not trying to down on your opinion, you certainly have the right to it and I don't doubt that some people just have a hard time playing some games on their PC. If it's a particular publisher giving you trouble, I'd be willing to bet it's their copy-protection software. Copy-Protection can cause all sorts of problems.
Ironic that I get problems with copy-protection on my purchased software, but my pirated software runs great.
There's no doubt games run perfectly every time on a console. I own a GameCube and a PS2 in addition to being a PC gamer. They each have their strengths for sure, but if the same game is on PC as a console I'll take the PC version anyday.
