I have a '96 and for the last year everything just came out the defroster vents. but now nothing going in to the witer thats not a good thing. Any thoughts on how to track down whats wrong and fix it so at least the defroster works again?? any and help will be wellcome.

Tell ya what I'll be a nice guy, go read the FAQs about your problemw with it only coming out the defrost vents.

Another idea...see that pic of the vacume controller? Its near the gas pedal. Well on mine there is nylon arm that connects to that...that moves up and down depending what part of the car you are trying to heat/cool. That black nylon arm popped off the controller shaft. I put it back on by turning on the "vents"...I forget which setting I used...so that the shaft of the controller extended all the way out...then I snapped back on the nylon arm.

thanks now i know where to start looking. It might be because about 2 months ago or so my car was broke into and the stole my deck. Which probly missed up one of the lines.

i have tore into it, and have yet to get it to work. how do you check to see if the vac. pumps are working, and which fuse is the blower motor on?
