Bought the obd2 scanner from CT.(On sale $175 right now) The scanner doesn't seem to fit properly the the DLC under the dash. Looks like the pins don't match up. Do you have to buy a special cable to use with ford?

OBDII is standard across all manufactures. Are you sure you have the correct plug?

Looked like the right plug...but i could be wrong...I only saw one plug running down the left side near the door ...right above the fuel reset button.

Bought the same thing about 2 months ago (the previous sale) and it works like a charm. Had no problems hooking up the thing to my tour, a neon (I know, I know) and a jeep. As far as the connector goes I think it's the same for all cars (manufacturers), but each manufacturer is using the pins a bit different.
One weird thing ... the tour responds to reads and resets at least 5 times faster than the other cars...
Hope this helps.

I work in retail, I knew you could do that anywhere. They only do price protection for 14days, mine was 19 days but she did it anyway.
