thanks for the replies, honestly if I had gotten the silver model I might not be so keen on selling it but I have just grown tired of the black...figure I will try to find a nice used S4 or a new R32...thanks again.

Wow, I never realized color made such a difference in price. Just checked my Silverfrost car out at Edmunds, and it's $86 more than a black SVT. I'll try not to spend all that in one place

i don't think silver would be more expensive than any other color, considering the amount of silver svt's vs all the other colors.

Not according to the Edmunds TMV calculator. All I did was change the color from Silver to Black (everything else remaining the same) and the private party resale value decreased by $86. It could also have something to do with your location (zipcode field). Maybe people here in the Northeast just prefer Silver over Black???
