Well, not really, but after replacing the stock Ford POS CD HU (Premium? really?)with the Aiwa, The sound is much better. But these stock POS speakers got to go!

Man, I have terrible hearing, am no audiophile, but those rear door speakers sound like they are underwater and the front are only a little better.

Gonna get me some new ones soon. Nothing fancy, but decent. Thinking Panasonics 3 way 6x8, direct bolt in from Crutchfield. Don't want to work hard, just sound reasonable. 22 watts RMS is fine by me, don't need 80,000 watts or 65 inch woofers.

The question is, does this upgrade treadmill ever stop? Is there a 12 step program for Contour Addiction?

I may be wrong but I beleive you mean Pioneer speakers that you can get from Crutchfield. They are decent speakers and kick pretty good with 52 watts per speaker and 22 rms. I put the 3 ways up front and 2 ways in the back. You can get a better price then what Crutchfield has. I got the 2 ways for $60 at Wal Mart, $20 cheaper then anywhere else I looked and the 3 ways I got from Circuit city for $100, which is the same but no cost for shipping. Check out Best Buy they have some good prices

Or you can buy the 3-way Pioneers from me for $60/pair.. See the NJ forum for all the other crapola I'm selling too
