I was thinking about going to UTI, obviously the campus in Arizona. It's in Avondale, which I've never heard of. So, tell me everything about Arizona I need to know. Good and bad. My main concerns will obviously be financial stability and I see there is no min. wage in AZ. Do businesses take advantage of this or are they pretty fair? What's the general cost of living in that area? As in, could I get a lowly job and afford to live in an apartment while I go to school? You know, the stuff that counts. Thanx guys, I would really appreciate all the input.

I looked at UTI a few years ago, it is one of the best in the US. Talk to your rep. more about job placment, they have places they work with to get students PT jobs, ect.

I have heard that Wyotech has better job placement than UTI. I too was looking into one of those too, then track came into play. Either way I think Arizona would be better than Wyoming, and anyone who has been to or through Wyoming will agree with me on that. Just my $.02

...and he'll want to. Isn't Wyotech in Laramie or something? Bah! Talk about desolate, cold, and windy!

Avondale is an okay place. I went to school in Avondale at Agua Fria. Avondale itself can be very "ghetto" in some places. I would say move north of there and you'll love it.
