the headers can be a PITA to do, the front is relativly easy, the rear is a lot harder because of the EGR tube, but it can be a DIY job, takes a couple of hours, have seen as little as 2 but as high as a couple of days

98.5 Black SE ATX S&B filter, SVT MAF, optimized SVT TB, mesh grille, removed orange reflectors, painted rear reflector, gutted pre-cats, optimized SVT LIM, 19lb injectors, resonator removed cant afford an svt but lookin for 1 in nc

I did my first MSDS set in 5 hours as I took my time. I could do it in 3.5hrs if I did it again.

212.5HP before headers. Good job! Care to elaborate on your mods? P&P? Tune?

Hey all!

Well my motor setup is a 3L with Oval port heads hogged out and made to match a svt upper and lower which called for extensive porting and polishing and to have a couple of adapter plates made to mate the two together. My baseline was 196 with stock everything. With the 65mm opt. TB was 201 and then I put true duals and changed my air filter and few other mods (BAT) and i hit 212. I am trying to remember some of the mods but its been so long. LOL Anyway that is my setup pretty much.

Also the super AFC helped me get the last 4-5 HP out of the car.

So is anyone in the NJ/NY area willing to help out with a weekend project. LOL

do you think it is absolutly neccesary to have a compressor.

Also i am gonna need to have the Y pipe modified to match up with the true duals

14.53 was witha 2.3 60' also.....which isnt good at all!

If it's true duals, why aren't you getting rid of the y-pipe?

Without air-tools easily add 2 hours to what I said. The air ratchet, and impact gun are your friends!

I took the stock Y pipe and cut where the 2 pipes met and turned the one that goes to the rear exhaust manifold 180 degrees so its facing the rear of the car and brought the pipes to there. So I figured I am still gonna need to have the pipe that goes around the oil pan and that same piece that i modified so what the hell it is worth the 40 bucks......or is there something better for me to do?
