This is exactly what I've been waiting for. I hated the current PS2's bulkiness and never bought one partially for that reason.

I would consider the same thing, but it doesn't look like the PS3 will be out until beginning of 2006 - MAYBE late '05 (Christmas).

If my current PS2 (gotten the christmas it came out) takes a dump on me any time soon, I probibly will. I on occasion get that damn disc read error, but it comes and goes...

I wonder if they will have a LCD screen for this like they had for the full size version. Maybe a car adapter like the PS One? I've played my PS2 like twice since I bought it so I can't justify buying this one. It is pretty cool though.
