yesterday i was going to work and downshifted from third to second, while the clutch was all the way down to the floor ( i had it down because i was about to shift into N because i decided i didn't need to go into second) while my foot was down on the clutch my car just died, the oil light came on then the power steering went out and my car died...it started right back up....i decided to see if it was a fluke or what so i did the exact same thing and the car died again....does anyone have a clue what could be wrong...it hasn't done it since.

The idle speed control valve may need a bit of cleaning. If that doesnt work, it may need replacement. Do a bit of searching on the forum for the ISCV.

That would be my guess as well. Try cleaning it and the throttle body and see if it helps.
