ABout amonth ago, I was looking at his car, was actually gonna buy it, but had not sold my car yet. Very nice car. Drove awesome, except for those noisy tires he has. But oh well. Good to see he sold it, though. I think his name was matt? I dunno, but clean car! Hey... I DROVE IT BEFORE YOU DID!!! But, ofcourse, you own it now.. so to me.

Congrats on the purchase, you got a good deal.

yeah its really clean, but the tires are loud, i don't like that at all...i will not be able to make it to the meet, because i have to work but i work in brighton right off of 96 at a home theater store, so if i by chance get of eairly i may roll out there, what time do you guys usually go till.

Also this is my first manual trans car, and let me tell you, this [censored] is hard to get used to.

Thats what I said.. but you know what. After a week, you'll be a pro. I love a manual trans, it lets you "enjoy the drive" a little more. The only good advice to give you on shifting is, don't ever (in any cicumstances, lathough you see the "fast and furious" guys do it all the time) downshift when stopping, you will screw up your trans pretty quickly.

Go to Edmunds.com, look around and read up on heel-and-toe downshifting. Then you can downshifft while stopping or slowing all you want.

Gongrats on the car, take care of it as the green ones are VERY rare!

Interesting, I went and read that article on Edmonts... and I found that I have been doing it for a while now when making turns, I always noticed that if I just let the clutch out in 2nd after a turn then push the gas down, I got a little bucking, and I HATE bucking. So I devised that if I make the turn and push the engine's rpms up a little then let out the clutch it grabs the gear Very smoothly so I continued to do it.. I had no idea that was considered Heel and toe downshifting... I feel accomplished
