Bottom line is that dial-up is friggin cheap, and it gets the job done. And fyi, for all the "*56k warnings*" that people put on pic posts, my 56k generally never has issues with it. Even when there's like 15 pics per page, its not too bad....only pics i've ever had issues with is when LoCo decides to put up gigantic pics.

100% dialup here and no desire to change. Like someone else mentioned it gets the job done. Plus, certain family members of mine get totally free Internet service because I use dialup.

And that's the speeds I'm getting now, after they started limiting bandwidth in the dorms. Though it really sucks on p2p stuff and AIM. Takes 5+ times to log onto AIM and buddy list load and messages are sometimes slow.
