You answered that one yourself. Depending on your insurance company, you might qualify for good student driver discounts and such. Be prepared to pay large premiums until you are about 20-21 years old.

Insurance for my SVT is ridiculous. I pay $340 a month on my moms insurance with a clean record. And thats the best quote we were able to get from any company.

Agreed on the front license plate thing, but I have to have it, and I was not installing the front license plate bracket. But, as far as wax, I use this product called Amarillo Gold. It is a show class wax, that I get from one of my buddies detail shop. Easy to put on, easy to take off, and a great shine. These pictures are after the SVT was buffed, but usually I put it on by hand, and I get almost the same results.
