SVT Contours are not lower. The bumpers and side skirts give the impression that they are lower but the gap between the tires and wheel well are the same. SVT focus' are lower than a stock focus. Many people put aftermarket springs on which you would already know. Or other people decided to put a 100 pound sub box in the rear and then the rear end sags. I have eibach springs.
