I didn't watch most of the debate as I prefer to read the transcripts (Bush sounds much more intelligent that way), but I did watch a few minutes and Bush looked to be leagues ahead in style and presentation than he was last week.

I agree. Kerry was the one looking tired at the end. I have to give this debate to Bush! (Sorry Mushu )

Bush was close to an embarassment to watch the first time around. Tonight he was light years ahead of his previous performance and came out astonishingly well.

Kerry did have some EXCELLENT sound bytes, though and hit upon some of the same doubts and questions I myself have of the Bush administration. Style and impact of message is something Kerry nailed.

One problem with Kerry's message though is he had next to NO specifics to discuss. He keeps mentioning how everything is going to "Hell in a handbasket" under Bush and how he can do a better job (good luck with a Republican controlled House and closely divided Senate, pal), but I'm finding nothing of substance underneath the optimism, vision and rhetoric.

I watched the first hour. I would say Kerry won hands down. Bush didnt have to many points to make but critized Kerry a lot. I think Kerry made some excellent points, bashed a few times. I hope Kerry does win, i dont think we would survive 4 more years of Bush.

Every "point" I saw Kerry make, Bush defended very well thereby negating that "point" IMHO.

I thought Bush did much better this debate, but I don't really care if he's a good public speaker or not, he doesn't want to raise taxes, he wants to keep government from getting bigger, and I think he is trying hard to protect america, plus he has clear moral standards, and does what believes is right, even if it's not popular.

I am not saying he is flawless, obviously he is not, but the majority of things that he stands for and believes in are things I find important, so he gets my vote.

I am tired of Kerry saying " I have a plan to win the peace." Ok, what is your freakin' plan? And I guess Teresa is going to bribe France, Germany, etc. so he can get "world support." For those who say they are afraid if Bush gets reelected, I'd be more scared if Kerry gets elected. If you were a terrorist, who would you want?

Well, I thought Bush won this one, and did an excellant job at squashing Kerry's lies and flip flops. Kerry even flipped several times during the debate. It was hilarious. Bush FINALLY got more agressive with Kerry, and that's pushed it for me to KNOW Bush won last night. Kerry was dancing around every question, didn't even answer them. Bush at least came CLOSER to answering them, and DID answer some fully, while Kerry never did. He spouted of this & that, which had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the question.
When asked SPECIFICALLY what he thought about a woman's coworkers who thought Kerry was "wishy-washy", and he went on to blame it on Bush not finding WMD.
When asked if UN sanctions didn't stop the threat from Iran, what would he, as Prez, do to fix it. Kerry went on to bash Bush again when Bush had nothing to do with the question.
When asked if Kerry would re-instate the draft, Kerry once again went onto Bush bashing and saying he would not re-instate the draft, but yet he would add 40,000 active duty military. Ok Kerry, answer me how you are going to ADD 40,000 active duty military members without re-instating the draft, because you can't FORCE people to join without drafting them. What a moron.
When asked why did he think there have been no other attacks on American soil since 9-11, and what would he do ensure America's safety, he once again bashed Bush instead of answering the question.
That's all I am going to get into right now since MOST of the questions posed were NEVER answered by Kerry, just attack Bush, attack Bush.....smokescreen, don't answer sh!t. This is exactly why I won't vote for Kerry. At least Bush answered.
