I'm looking for a good place in Ottawa to replace my clutch, since I'm pretty sure I fried it (see Clutch Problems?).

I guess I'm going to go for the SVT clutch and pressure plate, because for one they seem to be cheaper than the non-SVT part according to http://www.ford-parts.com.

Are there any problems putting an SVT clutch on a non-SVT? What else should I replace other than Clutch and Pressure Plate?

Also, any problems putting the SVT flywheel on a non-SVT, and any performance gains? Again, the SVT flywheel is cheaper.

And, who anyone know anyone in Ottawa who can replace it competently and hopefully cheaply?

I'm pretty sure there is no problems with putting the SVT flywheel in. I'm pretty sure IIRC that it is 2lb's less and therefore there would be some gains to be had as the engine can spool up a little faster.

I should add that I plan on buying a Slave Cylinder/Throwout Bearing as well.. Trying to find a decent place to do it. Any place in Ottawa that will do it for $300 like that guy in Toronto?

Try giving Derek from Spaz Performance a call. He might not do it for $300 but it will be done right and he is very reasonable. He has also worked on these types of cars before so that helps.
