how do you ground an amp without running a wire to the engine block, or negative battery terminal. Is the trunk grounded? Can i just bolt it to an unpainted metal spot in the trunk

a great grounding spot is the bolt that hold the seat belt . I have been using that spot for a ground for many years I currently have a concept 2400d amp grounded on my rear seatbelt bolt for about a year and it works great smile

I used a screw behind the plastic cover in the trunk that way its close t my amp so get less distortion th little plastic screws that hold on the plastic cover are easy to get out too

When you do the amp wiring, Make a new ground for the battery too. It helps alot and since you are already running wire...
