I have heard an excellent review from a friend of mine that has them on a BMW 535 manual. They have lasted him a long time and drive well in most conditions. Snow traction is very good and dry performance is decent.

I have Nokian's "Hakka Q's" on my '99 SE......all I can say is what a fantastic severe weather tire it is! I'm going on my third Michigan winter...with my job I have to get to work, no matter the weather. So far, the Hakka's have performed flawlessly.

The tire performs its best in a turn.....the sipes in the tread provide additional stability in a turn, particularly in a panic situation. I've been able to drive around spinning vehicles by deaccelerating and staying off the brakes. It also helped the traction that I went down a size...I'm using 195/60/15, stock is 205/60/15. The tire is better able to cut through the snow rather that sit on top of it.

It's not the cheapest severe weather tire there is, but when driving through a foot of unplowed snow on country roads at 3:00 AM, I don't complain!
